Thinking Outside the Box
In 2004, I participated as a panel member in an Energy Alternatives workshop at the Boston Museum of Science. This museum is very innovative and is continually looking for new exciting material. The following are some examples.
The Boston Museum of Science (http://www.mos.org/) has a two part audio presentation that covers:
1. Use of living organisms, e.g. yeast and viruses, to produce solar cells and batteries
2. Use of the hydraulic energy in a vehicle shock absorber to produce supplemental electricity in cars, buses, and trucks.
Each presentation is about 10 minutes.

Open audio works in Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Chrome. You do have to click on the play button once the small window opens. Download audio directly works well in Chrome.
Really different approaches.
